Service Times
Programs for Kids & Teens:
We’ve got your kids covered from babies through high school. When you arrive, our team will help you find Children’s Check-In or the Youth Area.
During the service, your kids will be in a safe, fun, age-appropriate environment led by trained and background-checked leaders who genuinely love what they do.
Let us know your children are coming so we can make check-in quick and easy for you.

What is Easter and Why is it Important?
Easter is the celebration of Jesus rising from the dead.
We believe the world is not the way it is meant to be. We see it in division, anxiety, injustice, and the quiet sense that something is off even when life looks fine on the outside.
We believe Jesus stepped into that brokenness. He lived among us, showed us what God is like, and willingly went to the cross to carry our guilt and restore our relationship with God. Three days later, He rose from the grave, defeating sin and death once and for all.
Because He lives, despair does not get the final word. Your past does not have to control your future. Love is stronger than hatred, and life is stronger than death.
Easter is the announcement that real hope has entered the world.
Get to Know our Pastor:
Hi,
My name is Benjamin Applebee and I’m the Lead Pastor at Generations church. My wife Rylee and I were born in Southern California and have been married for 18 of those years. Together we are raising 12 kids- 8 biological and 4 adopted from the county of Orange. (No, that’s not a typo… as you can see pictured ; )
After giving our lives to the international mission field (South Asia/South America) from 2008 to 2011, we received our call to local church leadership. Have you ever experienced a redirect in your vocational calling? Yeah, suffice to say we had a little whiplash, but after that first summer of 2011, we knew this was why (partly) God had put us on the earth.
We have no delusions about what church can be-the hurts, pains, offenses and yes-even ALL the misconstrued Bible verses. Despite it all we have a deep and profound love for the local church. And we have a love for the city we’ve been called to. We know that what God has called for, He will also provide for: a church that is safe to be in process, that is fearlessly Gospel-centered and relentlessly Spirit-led.
Now to respond to some of your more serious questions:
- Yes, we know how babies are made.
- Yes, we have one 15-passenger vehicle that fits all of us (and grandma too)
- No, we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
- No, we don’t believe the church exists to serve our brand, platform or personality.
- Yes, we watch Netflix (nearly) as much as the average person (we don’t own a TV, but we do have an iPad)
- Yes, we love good food and farmer’s market Kombucha. And before you ask the answer is: Mexican… 3x/week.
We are a medium-sized multiplying church. We are not called to be a “mega-church” and we’re not called to be a small “country club” church either. We view our home as a microcosm of the church-a place to impart the words and ways of Jesus, believing in faith that generational faith will be our greatest legacy.
And we can’t wait to meet you.
